The Way of True Champions PDF Print E-mail

“Everyone can be great because everyone can serve.”

-ML King Jr.

The Way of True Champions trains youth in essential virtues that can be cultivated through playing football. Virtues are positive qualities of character and are exemplified in an individual’s consistent good behavior. Youth learn about the formation, development, and maturity of character needed both to play the game to the best of their ability, and to practice consistent ethical behavior, and care for other players. The cultivation of virtues also encourages excellence in school, in work, and in the community and promotes care and consideration for other people. The practice of serving others helps youth develop to become better players, better friends and better citizens. This is the way of true champions. Although only very few players can become champions in football, everyone can become a “champion in life.”
