Play Football Make Peace

Palau is not a hotbed for conflict, global or local. So, while PFMP generally seems to be a good program to help in bringing about peaceful initiatives and attitudes, during the tournament in November 2004 it showed us the simple beauty of playing football in Peace.

In the words of Mr. Daryl Lund: "While Palau is a small and peaceful nation, it has a diverse population which one can see nowhere better displayed than on the soccer field."
